How to use an individual element from a file with multiple elements.

This tip applies to all versions of Photoshop including Elements. This tip will work in several other image-editing programs as well.

Adobe Photoshop
Use the marquee or lasso tool to select around the element you want to use then use the move tool to drag it onto your scrapbook page.

Adobe Photoshop Elements
Use the marquee or lasso tool to select around the element you want then use the move tool to drag it onto your scrapbook page.

Ulead PhotoImpact
Use the Standard Selection Tool to select around the element you want. You may need to uncheck fixed size before doing this. Next, click on the Pick Tool and use it to right click on your selection. Choose copy to clipboard then paste it on your scrapbook page.

Microsoft Digital Image Pro
Use the marquee or freehand tool to select around the element you want to use then copy and paste it onto your scrapbook page.

JASC Paint Shop Pro
Use the selection tool to select around the individual element you want then copy and paste it into your layout.

Corel Draw or Photo-Paint
At this time we do not have specific instructions for using our elements with this program. Check back soon for help. Older versions of this program do not work as easily with the elements in our CD that require a transparent background but they will work if you play with the file a bit.
